Install a Demountable Container

Step-by-Step Guide: Installing a Demountable Container

Welcome to the Demountable Container Installation Guide!
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to assemble a demountable container safely and efficiently with just two people. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Prepare the Site

Before beginning assembly, ensure the site is ready.

  • Flat Surface: Place the demountable container on a flat, stable surface to provide a solid foundation.
  • Safety First: Wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves, helmets, and protective footwear, throughout the process.

Step 2: Remove the Top Chassis

Using a crane, connect the top chassis at the designated lifting points.

  • Detach Corner Brackets: Use a drill to remove the corner brackets securing the chassis.
  • Lift the Frame: Carefully lift the upper frame from the flatpack using the crane and set it aside for later assembly.

Step 3: Unpack Materials

  • Remove all packed materials, including wall panels, roof panels, and steel packaging sheets.
  • Ensure all components are accounted for as per the assembly manual.

Step 4: Attach Corner Posts

  • Fix the corner posts loosely using the original bolts.
  • This loose attachment allows flexibility for inserting wall panels during assembly.

Step 5: Install Wall Panels

  • Insert the wall panels into the slots of the upper and lower frames.
  • Follow the dimensions and codes provided in the assembly manual for accurate placement.
  • Panel Details: Walls and roof panels are insulated sandwich panels, ensuring durability and energy efficiency.

Step 6: Place Windows and Door Frame

  • Windows: Slide windows into their designated slots according to the manual. No screws are needed for this step.
  • Door Frame: After installing the last wall panel, slide the door frame into place from top to bottom.

Step 7: Secure the Lower Frame and Panels

  • Tighten the bolts on the lower frame to ensure stability.
  • Double-check that all wall panels are securely clamped into position.

Step 8: Retouch and Position the Upper Frame

  • Retouch any paint on the upper frame while it’s suspended by the crane.
  • Carefully position the upper frame on top of the structure, ensuring all panels fit snugly into their designated slots.

Step 9: Install Supporting Posts

  • Follow the manual to install the four supporting posts for added stability.
  • Secure the upper frame to the lower frame using bolts, and fasten the corner posts with washers.

Step 10: Finalize Assembly

  • Attach supporting posts to the upper frame along with the lifting brackets.
  • Install the container door to complete the structure.

Congratulations!
Your demountable container is now fully assembled and ready to use. Enjoy a versatile, durable, and portable solution for your needs!
